booking policies

  • Booking-fees:

These are paid to secure your appointment and are therefore non-refundable. They may be transferred over to a new date once, provided one week’s notice is given. If you reschedule outside of the notice period, or reschedule a second time, a new booking fee will be required.

  • Lateness and no-shows:

If you are running late for your appointment, please contact me via email - if the delay is significant, I may ask you to re-book if it will affect other appointments.

If you more than 15 minutes late with no communication, I will assume you are no longer attending. In this case, you will be asked to pay the full appointment cost before re-booking.

  • Price:

The price you’ve been quoted and agreed upon is for the design requested via the enquiry form. If you’d like to make changes to your initial request, please let me know via email at least a week before your appointment. Small changes to the design are possible on the day, but entirely new designs will require a reschedule with a new booking fee.

If significant changes to the size or placement are made on the day, this may be reflected in a higher price - I will inform you before we start.

  • Proof of age:

If you look under 25, I may ask you to show proof that you are over 18 - this can be in the form of a driving license, passport, or PASS card. Whatever your age, please bring ID to be safe as the studio consent form will request a copy.

your appointment

  • Payment:

The remaining balance of your tattoo is required to be paid in cash or via bank transfer - there is no card machine at the studio. Please contact me via email if this will be a problem.

  • Arrival:

Please arrive on time and no more than 10 minutes early for your appointment. We may not be able to let you in or have the space for you to wait if we are already with clients.

  • Bringing friends:

There is limited space in the studio for people to wait, so it is advisable to attend your appointment alone. If someone is bringing you, there is a cafe round the corner called the Rainbow Cafe where they may like to wait. If you need to bring someone with you for any reason, please let me know via email so I can make sure they’re accommodated.

  • Numbing cream:

I don’t recommend using numbing cream as it can adversely affect the tattooing and healing process. If you really feel like it is needed, please contact me first. If you arrive for your appointment with numbing cream applied, I may be unable to tattoo you.

  • What to do before your appointment:

    • Exfoliate & moisturise the are that will be tattooed regularly

    • Ensure you have eaten

    • Avoid caffeine and alcohol on the day

    • Do not sunbathe/use sunbeds before

    • Remove any fake tan from the area

    • Dress comfortably and so that I can easily reach the area to be tattooed. Button up shirts or cardigans are great for backs and sternums, and tie-up bikini bottoms for hips and upper thighs. Dark clothing is best as ink will not wash out.

  • What to bring with you:

    • Headphones so you can listen to or watch something - with most placements we may be unable to chat much once we start as this causes too much movement.

    • Sugary snacks/drinks - if it’s a long session or you’re prone to drops in blood sugar.
